At Shomer Collective, we've been changing the way Jewish communities do death for 5 years through resources, trainings, and support. We're ready to expand that impact.

We are seeking three new members for our Board of Advisors: individuals who bring a wide variety of experience and expertise to help elevate Shomer Collective’s sacred work.

Board members help Shomer Collective:

Build a Strong Foundation. Play an active role in fundraising and earned income generation as we strengthen our financial future.
Grow. Contribute to our long-term vision, including making our theory of change a reality and executing our strategic plan.
Expand our Reach. Serve as an ambassador, introducing Shomer Collective to new partners and funders.

What this involves:

Four 90-minute virtual board meetings per year, plus one annual 24-hour in-person retreat
Service on at least one standing committee (Governance, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
Meaningful annual financial contribution
A 3-year term, renewable commitment
